About Us

We are an independent family owned funeral directors offering a personal and compassionate 24 hour a day service

Our History

Jack Warwick began working as a Funeral Director in Kettering in the early 1960s.

In 1985 Jack Warwick Funeral Service was founded by Jack and Margaret Warwick and has always been located at 2a Wallis Road, Kettering. In 1988 Jack extended the business into London Road to offer onsite funeral catering facilities.
Following Jack Warwick’s retirement from the family business in the early 2000s, Jack’s Daughter and Son-in-Law Julie and Peter Smeathers successfully ran the business for many years, along with Jack’s Daughter-in-Law Jackie Warwick.

In 2016, Lloyd Woodhouse and his Brother-in-Law Daniel Halls took over the day to day running of the business. Jack Warwick Funeral Service remains an independent and family run firm and continues to maintain and respect the same values and standards of care offered by Jack Warwick from the day the business started.

In 2023, Jack Warwicks took on a semi derelict Georgian Coach House off the High Street in Wellingborough and has over several months sympathetically renovated it to create a new funeral home (opened in March 2024) with its own mortuary, chapel and catering facilities for our families in Wellingborough and the surrounding area.
